3915 on the Brattle Loop

3915 arrives at Government Center on the Brattle Loop on Feb. 29, 2024. Due to the shutdown of part of the Green Line between Feb. 20 and Mar. 8, 2024, the MBTA was running shuttles between Union Square and Government Center. To my knowledge, this is the first time since 1952 that the Brattle Loop has seen regular service.

Wow I'm love I love trams and Trains❤
thats somewhere you dont want to have a dewirement
Visited the museum many times but this the first time I’ve ever seen this being used.
I wish so badly that someone would get a pair of these, and use battery hybrid bus engines and batteries to make these things diesel electric, and then make them distributed power so they can go butt to butt
that is COOL
It sounded like road runner saying beep beep
Thank you. They were beautiful. Much love ❤️
How thoughtful of the man talking in the background to think of the other people being able to see ❤
2:01, if you look very closely to the left, you can see MBTA Boeing Re-Railer Car parked on a siding on a track in the tunnel in between the inbound and outbound tracks behind four support columns just before the Boylston Station going inbound and just after the station going outbound.
3:33, I've always wanted to know what it was like to stay on the train and go around the Government Center loop while looking out the front rail fan window. Now I know, thanks man. 😃
Crispy clear video. Fantastic quality.
Surprised the wipers don't park to the sides...
OMG Listen to those flanges squealing on that extreme radius. We were there in 2018.

Certified Looney Toons City Express Door Closing Beeper.
Slowest tram route I've witnessed.
The system needs to erect sound barriers in residential areas. Also, alot of operators will go deaf over time being exposed to the high pitched whine.
That's so great.
Should have acquired 3536 instead.
SPIFFY!
Goofy ah train
this is cool
BLOODY GENIUS.
That’s actually pretty neat!
Awesome footage of train thanks I love these trains. Thanks so much. 👍👍👍
I LOOOVED this ! THANK YOU !!! ❤
That orange and gray commuter railroad care was the mainstay of the Long Island Railroad from the 1920s til the 1970s. I am a New Yorker who grew up in NYC during the Mad Men era and rode them to the 1964 New York World's Fair.
ЧО ВЫ ТАК ЕБЕТЕСЬ СО ШТАНГАМИ ГДЕ ВАШИ ПАНТОГРАФЫ?
The basic princible is a "Y". Used in railroads to turn locomotives; etc thou some can turn a train if long enough. Early cars had one pole on which can be turned manualy as demonstrated on one UA-cam video of Ilse Of Man line. Later doublpole could be end cars used a seperate pol at each end or pentagraph. A retreval pole was used or a rople that was secure to cleates used instead of permanent rope holder
Chuga choo choo! I'm a train and I approve this video!!!!

Hello, my friend! At long last, I've found this beautiful video that you uploaded some time ago called "Evanston Sub." I want you to know how grateful I am to you for uploading this video and how much I enjoyed watching it, because I model a portion of the Evanston Sub on my N-scale model railroad, that portion from Green River, WY to Echo, UT. Videos such as yours have helped me "capture the feel" of the area I'm modeling, although in a greatly compressed space measuring only 10 feet by 12 feet. I'm wondering: Would you be willing give me permission to use 4 or 5 screen shots from this video in a future video I'm thinking of doing, about extending the Echo Canyon area of my layout? I would, of course, give full credit to you, and I would urge my viewers to go to your channel to see more. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks again for this wonderful video. ...Roy P.S. Echo Canyon on my layout still isn't finished, but here's a video that I uploaded way back in Feb 2019, showing my effort to "recreate" Echo Canyon: ua-cam.com/video/xYC7bAc9Ff0/v-deo.html&index
Sure! I'm glad you liked the video.
@@mbta3247 Thanks. I absolutely love this video. ...Roy
